Dr. Eduardo Bertoni, a distinguished figure in the realm of human rights, holds a PhD from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and serves as the Director of the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the American University Washington College of Law. With a background in law and international affairs, Dr. Bertoni brings a wealth of experience to his roles. Previously, Dr. Bertoni served as the Representative of the Regional Office for South America of the Inter American Institute of Human Rights and as the first Director of the Access to Public Information Agency (AAIP) in Argentina, where he played a pivotal role in shaping data protection and access to information policies. His contributions extend beyond Argentina; he was the founder and inaugural director of the Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information (CELE) at Palermo University School of Law.
