Author of books and articles on Tort Law, Contracts, Litigation and Law, Economics and Behavior in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He taught graduate courses and seminars at Harvard Universities; Berkeley, California; Columbia, New York; Chapman (Los Angeles); Paris 1 (Pantheon-Sorbonne); Autonomous, Complutense, Carlos III of Madrid, Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, ITAM, Mexico, among many others. He obtained the "Roemer Award for Academic Trajectory in the Development of Economic Analysis of Law in Latin America 2010" (University of California, Berkeley and ALACDE) and the "2008 Microsoft Research Award for Scholarship on Law and Economics", among others. Honorary Professor at the University of San Martín de Porres in Lima. Corresponding Academician by the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Córdoba. He was President of the Latin American and Iberian Association of Law and Economics (ALACDE) until June 2017.
